Firefox Releases VPN App For Both Android & Windows Users

Open Source Web browser Mozilla Firefox has easily introduced its own paid Virtual Private Network (VPN) known as the Firefox Private Network VPN. Earlier Mozilla launched For Windows Users and now and now has published an Android app for it.
Firefox Releases VPN App For Both Android & Windows Users

Since last year the company had begun testing the Firefox Private Network. Mozilla always intended to be a paid service to avoid profiting from user data and this paid Virtual Private Network service aims at providing user-level browser or device-level protection, protecting Firefox web browsing, stopping eavesdroppers on open, public Wi-Fi from spying on your browsing.

The application is listed on the Play Store, but is apparently not available for download. As with the FPN service, the Android app is also in beta. The store page states that users can protect their Android device connection with the app while using any app.

Mullvad VPN is operated by the Virtual Private Network service, which claims it has no logging policy. In comparison to existing protocols such as IPsec or OpenVPN, it also uses the latest WireGuard standard for improved encryption and faster speeds which may give the service an advantage over other VPN offerings.

Firefox offers for the VPN service a limited-time beta price of $4.99/month. Both the browser extension and the full-device VPN are currently available only in the US.

The company is working to increase VPN service reach into more countries. The company has also added that it is also working to make it available on various platforms such as iOS, Mac, and Linux, so that most users benefit from it. But they are unfortunately unable to share the time frame with regard to its availability.
