Data Subscription to be reduced per GB from N1000 to N390

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) reports that it is working to address and enforce the Directive of the Federal Government on the issues of unlawful deduction of data and to examine the downward cost of data in the country.
Data Subscription to be reduced per GB from N1000 to N390
NCC plans to review the the cost of data subscription from N1,000 to N390 per gigabyte.

Speaking to reporters in Kano on Saturday, Mr Danbatta announced that the latest national broadband plan for 2020-2025 was part of the plan, which specifies that Nigeria would have broadband access, cover nearly all areas of the country and introduce 4 G networks nationally as well.
According to him, the ministry was tasked with designing a strategy and policies for the digital economy, adding that all the efforts placed in place are meant to push the cost of data down to N390 as opposed to the N1,000 paid by Mobile Network Operators, MNOs. The cost has actually come down to N1,000 / gigabyte of details, but the government says we should target N390 in the next 3 to  5 years.
According to Mr Dambatta, in order to attain subsidised data rates, the country must have a pervasive broadband data infrastructure.

I know N300 also includes part of the network for 1 GB data plans, but it is only meant for 7 days. The question is how long will the data last, and will it zap or not zap like others?
